Reflecting on Five Years as a Latina Business Owner

As I look back on five years of running my business, I’m filled with a deep sense of pride and gratitude. Being a Latina business owner has been an incredible journey that has shaped not only my career but my identity as well. As many of you may know, I spent the first decade of my professional career working within our Latinx communities, and it has always been a passion of mine to be in the community and with the community. These experiences have deeply influenced how I approach both life and business.

In honor of Latinx Heritage Month, I’m reminded of the importance of embracing our roots while also building a future that uplifts others. Our heritage is one of resilience, strength, and unity, and it’s these values that I strive to embody in my business every day.

As an event curator and consultant, I’ve had the honor to create spaces that center around community, wellness, and impact with so many of our clients. It’s been rewarding to bring people together in ways that foster connection, learning, and growth. But as my business celebrates its 5th anniversary, I find myself reflecting on the future and how I can continue to elevate the work we do.

My Personal Commitment

Moving forward, I’m committed to creating more spaces that not only focus on community, impact and wellness but also on empowering my fellow Latinas. As I look ahead, I want to create meaningful experiences that propel women in our community to grow and excel as leaders. By doing this, I hope to contribute to a world where more Latinas are leading with confidence, driving change, and creating legacies of their own.

As I celebrate this milestone, I’m filled with excitement for what’s ahead. I look forward to continuing this journey with the same passion and dedication that has brought us this far, and I’m eager to see how EOD can make an even greater impact in the years to come.
